Are pansies in season during the month of June in the Nashville, TN area?

I wanted to use little potted pansies as centerpieces for my wedding reception and didnt know if I could find any in June.

Are pansies in season during the month of June in the Nashville, TN area?
no they are not, but they are extremely easy to grow from seed in the pots you want to display them in just keep them out of extreme heat
Reply:I think that in a normal year, they'd be past their prime, if still alive at all. It gets a little too warm for pansies there that time of year...

you could try to raise them from seed???
Reply:Pansies are a cool season annual. In most milder climates they can be obtained as early as September, usually in October, and will last until it starts getting warm in Spring. Usually by the end of April they start fizzling out, getting leggy, or wilting down. They may last into the beginning of May if the weather stays cool, but not much past that. Any random Pansies you find after that are exceptions and usually a late germinated seedling not yet in its prime. But it won't last into the heat either.
