Something is eating my pansies, usually the ones close to the ground, right down to the stem!! What is it and what should I use to get rid of it? I don't think it's aphids.

This would be something to ask a local (as local as possible) gardener, as pests and other flower-eaters vary quite widely from place to place, and you give no location. Perhaps try a nearby nursery, or where you bought the pansies.
Reply:I'm surprised your pansies are still growing well. they usually like much cooler to cold weather. you sure they arent just dying in this summer heat?
